Pricing

What the engine charges: nothing, in this release.

A pricing page that sounds smaller than the truth is worse than none. Here is exactly where a cost can come from on a payment pay carries.

What pay adds

  • Nothing. The engine computes no fee of its own: it adds none to a checkout, deducts none from a settlement, and books none on a refund.
  • What a payment costs is visible where it happens: on the connection between the business and its own provider.

What the provider charges

  • A provider fee, reported, not computed. When the provider reports the fee it keeps, pay records it on the attempt or refund exactly as it was reported, and shows it on the payment's record and in reconciliation.
  • That fee is a matter between the business and its provider: their contract, their pricing. pay only shows the line.

Where the money sits

  • In the business's own account. pay instructs the merchant's own provider account to collect, learns the outcome, and tells the merchant. It never holds, pools or pays out merchant money, so there is no float of anybody's to charge on.
  • A schema guard refuses any table that would hold a balance, a payout or a wallet. That is written into the tests, not just into this page.

What lands later

  • Credits, outside the engine. A proposal describes business credits bought on ifinsta.com and priced on a price list, for ifinsta's own services. Until that decision is written down and shipped, there is no price list here to quote.
  • When it lands, this page changes first, together with the changelog.

The short answers

  • Does the hosted page add a charge? No. The payer is asked for the amount the server fixed, once.
  • Does a refund cost anything here? pay bookkeeps no refund fee. What the provider does with the refund, including any fee it keeps, is recorded as reported.
  • Is there a plan to choose? No plans, no seats, no licence keys. Everything documented on this site is in the one version that exists.
